Hand acupuncture

[Subterm of Acupuncture]

Hand acupuncture is one type of acupuncture wherein acupuncture points are utilized that are located outside the main meridians. The aim of hand acupuncture is to regulate specific organs and body functions. This type of acupuncture is different from classical acupuncture in that it is not specifically aimed at the general energy state and balance of the body. Both classical meridian acupuncture and hand acupuncture  may be combined to accomplish synergy of healing.
