Scalp or cerebral acupuncture

The therapy is indicated for treatment of diseases that are the consequence of pathological changes in the brain. Points are situated on the scalp communicating in some presently unknown manner with areas of the brain cortex. Through symptomatology and knowledge of brain cortical functions, the specific cortex area can be localized (for instance, the brain cortical area related to disturbed motor function of one arm). The projections of these brain cortical areas at points on the scalp are then used for treatment.
